Want to be more involved in the dance community and get paid? Join the Savoy Swing Club team by running the door at Savoy Fridays - our beloved weekly social dance at the Lowdown Ballroom!
As the door host, you'll be the first friendly face dancers see. You’ll:
Greet guests and take payments
Check memberships and help newcomers feel welcome
Assist instructors and DJs in getting set up
Help with space setup and end-of-night closing
You'll be working from 7:15 PM to 11:15 PM every Friday, earning some spending cash plus free entry to dance the night away in between hosting duties. It's a great way to support the scene, meet people, and stay connected to the joy of swing.
